My First Commission On Affiliate Marketing

The feeling of the first sale was like first love, that was my experience, what was yours? Every Internet marketers when they first started will face difficulties, so do not be taken back. All you need is the motivation to carry on. And the commission that I got from Amazon is the motivation till now. Though I have cash in the cheque already, but I want to remember the first sale feeling again. Below is the cheque:

You can see that although it’s not a huge sum, but it has convinced me that Internet marketing can be done. I have heard from people who went for internet marketing seminar, not doing anything after the seminar. I was there as well, but how come I am able to see result. The reason I found out is that they did not execute on what they learn in the seminar. It was such a waste not putting to use what you have learn, and they have invested close to USD $2000. Why did they not start on their internet business?

There are two main reasons for not executing what they learn:

1) Not enough time to put to use what they learn. They did not prioritize on setting aside time and money into the internet business. Their job cause them to stop what they are doing. For me it is all about managing oneself in achieving your goals. If you think that I was in luck that I am what I am, you are wrong. I work hard to become where I am now, and I am sure it was not luck that bring me here.

2) Fear of getting started. I must agree that when I first started, I had fear in getting started because of the technical nature of internet marketing. It was hard to setup my first website, do not know what HTML is, etc.. But that does not stop me from moving forward.

Robert Kiyosaki did a survey a couple of years ago on the percentage of people who started on business, I will share with you what is the true percentage of you being successful is less than 1%. For every 100 people who start on internet marketing, only one or none will be successful. But do not worry, the internet marketing world is a forgiving world, as long as you persist and focus on doing one thing at a time, you will see success in due time.
