Blogging Tips 8: Niche Blogging
In today’s Internet Marketing Strategy, we will be going back to blogging tips: Niche Blogging. What is niche blogging? It means that you are blogging on a particular subject or topic, this is also called focused blogging. Like for example you are interested in food review, which is very general, but if you are only blogging about Indian food only, this is niche blogging.
Why would I want to do only one topic blogging instead of different topic in my blog? It will make sense that more people will be coming to my blog this way? It is because niche blogging will be bringing targeted audience to your blog, and they will most properly become your loyal readers if you have provided good and interesting content that is relevant to them.
Another reason is that, with few topics or subjects on a blog, it will confuse your readers as they did not come to read your other subject but only to the one they are interested in only. Though you will be broad in traffic, but they will not be staying long and will most properly look for blogs that will give them what they are interested in.
If you look at the top 100 blogs in Technorati, the blogs there are very niche in their subject, sometimes they are so niche that they are talking only about a particular. have a look there.
So how do I start my niche blogging?
It is best that is something that you passionate about, particularly one that can substain you for about 5 years, because you do not want to give up blogging your niche and abandoning your readers. Usually with that age in blogging in your niche will stagment, and it may be time to sell it away for a profit.
Here are some tips how you can start a niche blogging
1) Find out the related topics in your niche, because they are going to be under your categories of your blog.
2) Research on other blogs that has the same niche as you, and you might want to link up with them in the near future.
3) Go to a forum that talks about your niche, you will also want to bring traffic from there with signature and some blog posts you have posted that is related to their questions.
4) Get a book or two that talks about your niche, you will be surprise to find things you do not know about them.
5)Comment on other blog that has the same niche. Note that you have to comment intelligently, and hopefully putting a link to your post that is related to the other blog post. Read more about commenting on other blogs.
6) Be focus on your topic only!
Remember that going niche means going deep, if you are deep enough, you will be getting lots of traffic to you. Be focus on your niche only. Share with others about this post, click link below to tell others.

Blogging Tips No 7: Customized Your Blog Theme
For every new bloggers out there, they will tend to use a free theme for their blog, I did that when I first started. Of course there are cons in using the free wordpress themes, but today I will share more on why you should use a customized one rather than a free one.
Customized blog theme looks unique from the other blog themes, because it is the one and only (unless your blog theme designer was not ethical) in the world. You see that everyone is unique in their looks and character, so your blog should also look unique and have it’s own character. Your blog should reflect your personalities, and your blog readers will relate to you more. You will have to communicate with your blog designer and tell him/her what is it you are like and the niche you are in as well.
