Importance Of Squeeze Page

In a lead generating strategy, you must use a web page that will be able to collect names and  emails for email marketing. This web page is called squeeze page. For your info, email marketing is where most of the internet marketers make the most of their money, but if you do not have a list of names and email addresses, there is no way you can make money from emailing to no one.

So in order to get the names and emails, you need to direct traffic to the squeeze page to collect them.

I will share on the traffic generation to the squeeze page in later post, for today it is getting to know what makes a good squeeze page.

Lead Generation: Single Or Double Opt-In?

If you are using lead generation marketing, you would have heard that in the first place, all are using single opt-in for subscribing to your list. As more and more misuse email marketing to those that never subscribe, turning the the email marketing into a spamming tool. Then the U.S stated a spam law that all opt-ins are to be double opt-in.

A quick description on how double opt-in work. A reader may choose to give his/her name and email to the marketer, after that an email confirmation will be send to the subscriber, this is where the reader must confirm on joining the list. If the reader did not click the confirmation link then the name and email that he /she has given will not be taken into account into the list. After the confirmation, if the subscriber complain that you spam them, you will be okay as the subscriber has confirmation to opt-in to your mailing list.

So this is my thoughts on these two types of opt-in….
