Good To Great Review

I read “Good to Great” by Jim Collins last week at the end of 2008. I must say that there is another kind of insight in becoming a great company.

Some of the things like leadership of the company is very important. In it Jim shared with us that they are level 5 leaders, usually they are people who has been with the company for a number of years. You can know more on chapter 2 of the book.

“Good to Great” companies usually starts off as a normal not that well known to the public. Then something that the company as a whole decided to become different and not change the way they operate previously, and best off all they do not intend to be the best in their field. This can be found in chapter 3.

They are not soft in confronting the truth about themselves and what they might be getting into if they do not change. This is in chapter 4. Check out the book now. I feel that this is a book if you intend to be different in your walk to become a business owner.

There are other information which are very essential as well. Some have commented bad reviews, but for me I generally like it, and feel it will help me if I use the teachings.
