The 4 Hour WorkWeek Review

The “new rich”, which was a term used by Tim in his book “The 4 Hour WorkWeek”. Tim shared that he is working 4 hour a week, which I must say its very impressive and motivating as well.

He has inspired me to reach that level of ‘New Rich’. In it, sharing that he outsourced a lot of things to other, leaving him to check email an hour a week. Which for me now, is quite impossible, haha. There are also a lot of resources which he shared in the book, and that its a very  helpful in becoming the new rich.

Tim is 30 year old and he is now working 2 months, rest 1 month. That is really the dream of a internet marketeer, aren’t you? 4 mini-retirements (short overseas trip)that he does every year (min), and that he stated is good for people who wants to live this kind of life. The new rich do not do all the work, in fact he said that the new rich must delicate to others and do less and less. Being effective is not being efficient, the new rich must be outcome effective.

For employees, there is a chapter in doing less is actually doing more in your work. Tim shared that the work you do is not effective in the job you are paid to do. Are you always interpreted in your work, making you unable to focus thus decreasing the effectiveness of your job. The solution: Get to work lesser, thus increase in productivity. This is a great book to have if you want to live the life as the new rich. So please grab it while you can.
